Hamilton’s Woodcraft

Built by hand. Made to stay.

Furniture, keepsake boxes, frames, and small-batch woodcraft — each piece designed, cut, and finished in one shop, one at a time.

Selected work

Three pieces, three stories

Handmade oak bar stool against a rustic wood wall
Oak bar stool — doweled joinery, no fasteners
Turned spalted maple bowl on a table
Spalted maple bowl — the tree drew the pattern
Heart-shaped keepsake box engraved with zodiac signs
Commissioned keepsake — engraved for two

The craft

Wood, patience, and a plan

Every piece here starts as rough lumber and a conversation. No production runs, no shortcuts — joinery cut to fit, surfaces finished until they feel right in the hand, and nothing leaves the bench before it’s something we’d keep ourselves.

  1. 01

    The conversation

Tell us what you have in mind — a piece from the shop, or something that doesn’t exist yet.

  2. 02

    Design & quote

We agree on the design, the wood, the timeline, and the price before anything gets cut.

  3. 03

    The build

Cutting, joinery, carving, finishing — with progress photos along the way.

  4. 04

    The handoff

Your piece, delivered or picked up, ready for a long life of use.

Have a piece in mind?

Custom work is most of what we do. Bring a sketch, a photo, or just an idea — the first conversation costs nothing.
